Qubic will support you every step of the way. This includes the installation of your systems, initial and on-going training, maintenance, fault repair, help and advice. Starting with the installation of your system, our Project Management team makes sure that any on-campus work undertaken will minimise disruption to the provision of education – where practical, work is carried out during school holidays, at weekends or out-of hours.

Following handover of the completed installation, we arrange initial training to fit in with the academic timetable. Training is provided on all aspects of the system including; telephone features, computer hardware and software, presentation and video equipment and peripherals such as printers and scanners.

Traditional ICT support involves waiting for something to go wrong then fixing it – our proactive approach turns ICT support on its head. At the core of our Proactive Managed ICT Service is our Network Operations Centre (NOC) that uses people and technology to constantly monitor every aspect of your school’s system against a predetermined performance template. It monitors parameters such as disk, memory and processor usage, network performance or hardware errors.

If anything goes wrong, the dedicated help-desk is there to sort out the problem over the phone; it could be a teacher who’s forgotten how to insert an image into a Word document, it could be a member of the support staff who cannot get their printer to print or it could be a server issue. Whatever it is, the help desk will talk the user through the issue, remotely support and fix where possible or arrange an on-site visit if needed.

Wherever possible, we will resolve issues remotely but there are some situations that require an engineer to visit; we have a team of fully qualified engineers to undertake those visits.

Regular preventative maintenance is the best way to keep your system performing at its optimum. Under our SICTOS programme, Qubic engineers will make scheduled visits to check network integrity, ensure security measures are in place and up to date, set up new users and network services, manage back ups and advise on upgrades and enhancements.
